Welcome to karmawaters, our aim is to provide high quality swimming teaching in a safe and friendly environment.

My name is Serena Tucker, I am a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse at the Birmingham children’s hospital who has always had an active involvement in swimming and water fitness.

I hold the Amateur Swimming association (ASA) swimming teacher’s qualification.

In addition to the above I have also gained qualifications in baby and Pre School with the swimming teachers association (STA).

Karmawaters is a member of the National federation of swim schools (NFS).

Your safety is of paramount importance, once you join a karmawaters class you can be confident that the class size will be less than the recommended ratio – typically 8 to 10.

We recognise that not all non swimmers will have the same level of initial confidence, therefore whenever required I will teach from within the water, in addition there will be a qualified lifeguard on duty at poolside when necessary.
